Uttam Kumar Shrestha

Mr. Uttam Kumar Shrestha, the Business Promotion Director of Quest Pharmaceuticals, oversees institutional supply, export, manufacturing and expansion plan. A graduate in commerce, he has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical business.

He started his career in the travel business. He joined his family established private public transport company named Annapurna Transport, prompting improvement in long-distance communication in the country. He then dealt in other businesses including real estate, before entering the pharmaceutical field as a distributor, and finally helping found Quest in 2001.

Beside this, Mr. Shrestha is former Vice President of Nepal Shooting Association, and current President of Newari Literature Organization “Hapaa Guthi”.
